Just back from a wonderful Self Care Retreat in Italy and my womb is full of energy, love and new comprehensions. It is so nice to see the faces of the Self Care Lovers the first day and than the joy in their eyes the moment they leave, wise and profound changes happen and you can only be humble in front of such magnificent energy. As a professional I have been wondering many times how can such a sweet, non-invasive massage produce so many effects, so simple yet so strong, how could it be? For me that struggle was a daily breakfast, to induce such a change with a simple touch was the most amazing lesson I could ever learn, but there is more.

This lovely treatment has centuries of history, the Maya of Central America, in fact, have treated the reproductive and digestive systems in combination with abdominal massage, realignment techniques, herbal preparations and prayer. So the nice, sweet touch has a huge history of wisdom that is now passing from Dr. Rosita Arvigo in our hands, and in your hands whenever you do your Self Care!

If you are in a Fertility Journey, may it be IVF, may it be just your will of enhancing your health before conceiving, may it be that you are trying and trying and trying and nothing happens, but you are completely healthy, you might want to explore an aspect that blow away my mind when I was told about... The Uterus moves in the abdomen and sometimes the position she assumes are not the best for our reproductive health... THE UTERUS CAN MOVE???? Yes, indeed.

The uterus need space in order to grow and shrink every month. During the last week before the bleeding the Uterus become double in size and weight. This is why most of us feel heavier and bloated. The cavity is designed to have some space in the front and in the back to allow such a change. Everything is kept in position with many ligaments that work every day to keep this status. During our life, though, many things can happen: falls, injuries, pregnancies, traumas, which could be immediately taken care of, if this practice would be common knowledge. So sometimes ligaments stretch and the uterus might change position, sometimes something really mild, sometimes something more. Many symptoms that women consider normal, are in fact the attempt of our belly to talk to us and advice that there is something that needs to be taken care of. Fertility issues can sometimes be symptoms.
