Today I was asked by a very qualified therapist why she should apply to our Self Care Arvigo® class instead of jumping on the Professional Care Training, since she already had the basis for a massage work and she already work with clients.
Often I get this kind of comments since most of my students are already wonderful practitioners in various different fields, now I really understand the answer and the process since I am interning as a Professional teacher and I get to see both stages and what makes a therapist an Arvigo® Practitioner! How much time of the day do you spend for your Self Care? How much time do you actually do what you suggest to your clients? How good are you with yourself? When we deal with our clients we teach them Self Care and Supportive Modalities, which is a clear path into ones health care, and we engage them in their own abdominal balance, and possibly much more. We try to give our clients the power of understanding what is going on in themselves in order for them to take charge of their own health. This does not mean that they are not visiting their practitioners anymore, this means though that they are aware of what is happening and they are fully invested in their own remission or keeping their well balance. The idea is to change the paradigm becoming completely active and work together with her/his practitioner of choice. Of course combining the Self Care with the Arvigo® Session is very important, but they are so much more powerful if the client is fully engaged. So the Self Care Training days should be a real deep internal search, a deep reviling path, so then when we take care of somebody else:
Yes this class is for absolutely everybody, you might know everything about the human body, or nothing at all, however as a therapist I cannot imagine a more efficient way to serve my clients, starting from the most important one: MY Self, YOUR Self. PS Check out the new dates for the Arvigo® Self Care Training in NL! PPS we are organising the very first Professional Care Training (PCT), Level 2 in THE NETHERLANDS in 2018… what a great occasion to enter a wonderful new path!
